I can't wait for pro teams to start using Atlas in tournament, MPL PH teams are already starting to use Atlas. He couldn't have been a more perfect initiator tank.
Took me a while to get to this video because it's so long, so I have to make time for it, but it's definitely worth it. Love in depth guide like this that teaches you everything you need to know about a specific hero, considering I am the type that prefers learning through someone else rather than myself. That reminds me, I still have to get through your Grockology video eventually, I've always wanted to learn how to play Grock especially positioning myself / my walls.
P.S. Luru, I want to ask a question. I've always wondered about this, but does slow effect stacks? For example, Atlas passive slow plus dominance ice. Does the slow effect stacks or does the higher slow rate take precedence over the other? What if you have Atlas passive slow, dominance ice, on top of that, having ice queen wand?
edit: also I really appreciate you taking your time responding to your subs. This might not last long once you get more sub counts and more comments flooding your videos and unable to get to all of them, but I still appreciate it. Another one of the underrated aspect of your channel is the fact that your guides are in English and you talk in your videos instead of just adding subtitle. It's a lot more immersive and easier to get to learn the hero that way. So, thank you. Also do you have plans to make guides for other roles other than tank and support? I am still a tank main currently for the foreseeable future but I am thinking of transitioning into another role or going back to my old role, midlaner, hence the EVOS harith skin request xD

so anyways, i' m pretty sure people i really like how you provided a very detailed guide(even pointing out the increase in phy. And mag. Defense when his passive is active, which most people just go over as well as the damage mitigation that comes along with the use of his second skill)

From the Pre-release Guide upto the In-Depth Guide, here is my additional input:
Atlas became one of the new META Tanks and top priority picks/ban right off the bat when he was officially released by Moonton.
He is tank with a Kaja Mentality [only more durable for Zoning and AoE Crowd control of Ultimate]
The Skill Study segment was already enough, every single detail was covered so I'm gonna move past this part.
For the Item Build at , the part where LuRu said about ''it really depends on the enemy lineup' is really true. It takes some experience and practice in order to know how to make your own build and adjust accordingly as the game progresses. And making an Item build also depends on your preferences.
I would say that the build suggested by LuRu is really recommended here. I just would like to add a different perspective of the item build/choice. 1st Item matic Roaming Item yan, buy it when you get to Lvl 2.
The general rule I always keep in mind is that when the enemy lineup has 3 mages, I will build a tough boots. If its 3 Physical damage heroes, I'd go for Warrior boots. Additionally, If you're going against a funnel Physical DMG hero go for Warrior Boots, do the same vice versa. Next is 3rd Item, for me I don't finish my roaming item yet, instead I go build the Def item opposite of the defense of my 2nd item. So, if I build Phy Def on 2nd Item [Warrior Boots], I build Magic Def on my 3rd. The reason behind is to balance your Total defense. So the 3rd Item would usually be Oracle [For the CD], unless the core Mage is really strong, go for Athena. Besides Oracle, if you happen to build Mag Def on 2nd Item, then build Immortality. My 4th core Item is usually Fleeting Time, but again If I think I'm too squishy I'd just go build a Def item similar to the type of Def I built on my boots [So its either Dominance Ice or Oracle]. Right before the 5th Item, usually I finish building the roaming Shadow mask by now. The thing you need to remember about Roaming Mask is that if your team plans to engage alot of team clashes early game [instead of letting your carries farm first through objective jungles/turrets] then finish the building the mask after buying the Defense Boots [Especially if it's a Courage mask which is very helpful in the Mana Regen of your allies].
5th and 6th Item Slots is really situational and it's upto you and your playstyle to choose the Def item that sustains Atlas best. Check on the Scoreboard which heroes are farming well or the Death Replay who is causing the most damage to you. This is your guide in choosing your 5th and 6th Item.
I believe Flicker is the only ideal Spell for Atlas because of reason you mentioned.
I do use the same Emblems that Luru showed here. Recently, I've switched from Tank emblem to Support Emblem. I switched because of the Mana problems and additional Movespeed I face early game. If I use support emblem, I'm not doing any aggressive ganks as I would be doing if I'm on the tank emblem. Because I'd be too squishy for that. Plus, whenever I'd get around 30-40% HP I would immediately recall since Tenacity is not active. If you choose to use Support Emblem, make sure that every gank you make is backed-up or followed-uo by your teammates unless you want suicide.
Pro Tips and Tricks.
I believe Atlas is best to pick when the enemy line-up has a solid backline that is kiting the damage. Backliner na tagong-tago at mahirap pasukan like Cecilion/Aurora/Pharsa/Kimmy kase parang Akai yung 2nd skill ni Atlas mas pinaganda lang [yung difference lang is kay Akai 1st skill muna bago 2nd skill para stun, ky Atlas antayin mo lang yung mecha bumalik ky Atlas] Totoo yung aside sa Purify, Flameshot din pang counter sa set ni Atlas. So, tama yung i-babait niyo nalang spells nila gamit fake-sets or talagang all-in pasukin niyo.
Chou, Lancelot, Wanwan at Diggie talaga mahirap set-an kaya if magfail set mo, just be sure na may back-up ally ka.

Most important tip for anyone who chooses to be the Tank for the team because you don't always have same thoughts even if you're playing with your bestfriend or kahit jowa pa nga diba so this is the simplest way for you to communicate that your initiating an Ulti. Communication is really important! Change your quick-chats, place these signals "Ultimate is Ready" and "Ultimate Not Ready/Skill on Cooldown" and use them when you need them.
Always do the combo of doing his Ultimate: 2nd Skill + Ulti to stun them and have a short charge on his ulti for a better re-position.
Another bug similar to that I can share, can be considered a tip na rin, is that when you have the item Guardian Helmet with you. When you are in clash and quickly need HP Regen, use your 2nd Skill upon escaping and it immediately trigger the passive of this item. Abuse this bug while you can!
As I've said at the beginning, the tips provided to you by LuRu are extremely important because these are the little things that have big impact to your game. If you want to be the best at the game, you need this micro-details kase ito ang magpapanalo sayo lalo na ang competitive na ng Mobile Legends ngayon since ang dami nang source material na tinuturo sa Youtube pati na sa Livestream ng mga pro-players sa FB.
