Learn how to replace a noisy pulley in your car WITHOUT having to remove anything else OR release tension! Pulley wear will cause your pulley to squeak. A worn out pulley bearing will make a terrible loud noise! I will show you how to replace the pulley EASILY in a few minutes! The serpentine belt in your car powers the accessories such as air conditioning, power steering, the alternator, and water pump. I recommend using a GATES brand replacement pulley, as this Dayco one only lasted a few years before the bearing was again noisy! * NOTE: This video of How to Replace an Idler Pulley, was intended as an option for those fitting the idler pulley by themselves - it can be much easier if you can grab an assistant for a few minutes, to take tension off the belt. So, if fitting a NEW serpentine belt as well, this MAY be more difficult if you don't have 3 hands!
