Like our facebook page : --https://www.facebook.com/sanghviskitchen Music: --Vacation Uke from Youtube Audio Library ***************** Farsi Puri Recipe************** INGREDIENTS:- -1½ cup Flour 250 grams -¼ cup Oil -1 tablespoon crushed Black Pepper -½ Teaspoon Salt -1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds -¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida Method:- -Firstly, to prepare dough, Transfer flour in a bowl/wide utensil. Add ½ Teaspoon Salt, Asafoetida, crushed Black Pepper, Cumin Seeds and ¼ cup Oil. Mix well. After mixing oil with flour, make sure the flour holds the shape. Add water little by little and knead stiff Paratha like dough. Cover and rest for 15-20 minutes. -After 20 minutes open there must be white dots all over dough. Make small sized balls from the dough and roll thin Puris. Do not roll thick Puris since Traditional Gujarati Puris are thin. Prick using fork or knife so that Puri will not become fluffy while frying. -Once all Puris are rolled fry them on slow flame till pink from both sides. Add max 5-6 Puris inside hot oil at once. Press gently using skimmer so that Puris do not become fluffy. After 2 minutes flip the Puris. It takes around 10-12 minutes to fry one batch. Once Puris are fried from both sides and take them out. Crispy Puris are ready!!
