It didn't use all blood guts and Gore ,just a lot of suspense which was good ,it was good to hear her to say in this interview Halloween Ends is going to be more suspenseful than gory ... 22

@timwall19752 years ago I was 3 years old when halloween was given to home vhs and I remember my older brother watching it and I remember that white face and the breathing and the dark. I was terrified of the dark for so many years. I was scared of the boogeyman. Wasn't until my early 20's I met a guy unexpectedly and YEP his name is Michael. I spent 25 years saying the name michael (sometimes screaming) and I love it still. Jamie is a warrior for woman who just accepted that men in the 70's 80's 90's 2000 get to stand over woman without recourse. She taught me to STAND UP! ...

Jamie Lee has been playing a character just months longer than I've been alive so I'm probably going to cry and I'm not even joking. Halloween was the first horror movie I saw since it was playing on TV Halloween night a year before the sequel was released in 1981. My mom later admitted she didn't think I was paying attention let alone would remember the movie. By the time Halloween 3: Season of the Witch came out she had relented and let me see the first two films. I literally grew up with this character and my take-away was to use ingenuity and resilience for all they are worth. I don't want the ride to end but I don't know how to keep it going if Laurie is gone especially since I've waited for ages to get sequels that are more plausible than the other versions. ...

One for Supporting Actress for “Everything Everywhere All At Once”, and Best Actress for “Halloween Ends”. I mean she has always been great each time she has played Laurie Strode (no matter what you think of Halloween Resurrection). It would be nice if the Academy would recognize that legacy. ... 1

She saved some of the silliest ones like when she wore a tacky wig in Halloween 2 and when she fought a CGI/Scream version of Michael in H20. She still was good in those movies and some of her most iconic scenes are in those movies. Like when she's being chased in the hospital in Halloween 2 and when she's had enough and chops Mike's head off in H20. This "final girl" is feisty and raw and real and that's why we love her. To quote my other favorite Jamie character: she was reckless and she was wild & she f@$*ing did it. 😏 ...

This one, the babysitter one, there was another one about don’t answer the phone, I think. I believe Friday 13 may have started a bit before but not sure, then Nightmare on Elm Street was a bit later maybe 84? ...
