I got my hand on the Moment CineBloom diffusion filter recently but didn't have a chance to try it at night. Because of a typhoon passing by, we had a lot of rain in Tokyo, and it was a great opportunity to test the CineBloom filter.
There are two Moment CineBloom filters with different strengths 10% and 20%. From the different videos I watched on YouTube, it seems that the CineBloom 10% is equivalent to the Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/8 and the CineBloom 20% is equivalent to the Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/4.
A month ago, I've played with the Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/4 at night but was surprised to see my pics so noisy. I'm planning to do a comparison between the Moment CineBloom and the Tiffen Black Pro Mist for both stills and video.
I've used the Moment CineBloom 20% for video during golden hour ▶️ /watch/srbvu6u2p2r2v
