The last three months in Turkiye have been absolutely incredible, and it is with full hearts we have to leave and make our journey home for our MOT. We have a long journey back to Ireland and have realised we had to split it up into two videos. In today’s video we share our last day in Istanbul and experience getting across the Greek border and into Greece for a whirlwind trip across this very beautiful country. Experiencing vanlife around rural Turkey and up into Istanbul and then back into Europe through Greece has been an epic adventure and one we won’t forget!! After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. So after waiting for six months for the borders to reopen in Ireland we have finally hit the road in June 2021 and spent 90 days enjoying vanlife in Spain. Then we spent the next two months enjoying vanlife in Croatia before heading onto Serbia which stole our hearts. Now we have journeyed from there into Turkey where we are meeting lots of fellow vanlifers. and with it i completely disregarded countless of natural gems, special historical and cultural sites inbetween all these areas or inside these areas but with skme research in these topics you will find them out.
