Powdered oxygen bleaches perform better in hot water than cold. This is because they create more hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in hot water than cold. When using oxygen bleach I’d recommend soaking your garments in water between 120-140 F / 50-60 C and letting them soak for as long as you can (overnight / 24 hours is ideal). The same goes for using hydrogen peroxide. If you blast your treated area with some hot air from a hair dryer you will achieve better results!
