HOUSE FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTION IN PAKISTAN & INDIA | Step by step process | Building solid foundation

House foundation construction is done through various steps in Pakistan & India. The step by step process of making foundation includes excavation, stone ballast filling, khakha pouring, watering, compaction, PCC & masonry work. The step by step process will ensure solid building foundation. We are back on the construction site where a foundation of house are being laid. In the last video, we showed you the excavation of foundation. After excavation we are moving towards base of the foundation. We will start filling the base of the foundation. This base will initially be filled by stone ballast and then khakha will be poured. In order to mark a point upto which stone ballast is filled, 3 bricks are kept which show us the 9 inches mark. We will fill stone ballast to that mark. Khakha is added to fill in the pores and gaps of foundation as that foundation remains stable and there are no gaps in it. Khakha is added once stone ballast has been placed and then we sprinkle water. Khakha when sprinkled with water filled in the voids. Lastly compaction is started to further make the foundations strong. If you don't want to add stone ballast, you can add sand. PCC (Plain Concrete Cement) will come over stone ballast (After stone ballast being compacted). The cost of stone ballast is higher than sand cushioning. We are also showing you compaction.
