4 Months in the Bahamas. Join us as we check into the Bahamas in North Bimini with our three labmaraners: Anubis, Mocha, and Nuala. A labmaraner is a cross between a labrador retriever and a weimaraner - and we have one of each color. After checking in, we visit the Dolphin House in North Bimini and then travel to South Bimini to see the S.S. Sapona wreck. The Dolphin House is a local museum built from all-recycled materials which has been open since 1993. The S.S. Sapona was a concrete ship that ran aground in 1926 and now is an excellent site for snorkeling. This is not our first time visiting a concrete ship. In fact, we saw nine concrete ships just off Kiptopeke State Park in the Chesapeake. But, this concrete ship is the first that we actually get to snorkel through! YouTube is awesome but we are also on Instagram and Facebook. If you follow us on these platforms you will receive more up to date information on where we are!
