Lithium ion plane battery

Lithium ion cells are becoming more capable of delivering high power outputs for use in smaller applications such as this plane. Lithium ion cells are already used in land based applications, such as cars and bikes. However, the energy density (per mass) of the cell is far more essential for air based applications.
