@StaceyYoder3 years agoBeing able to know when the end is on sight is important for mom and child. Also doing the hard thing first is so great. My son and I were just talking about that this morning 👍Great backs!

@AmberUnraveled3 years agooh gosh I am totally type A list maker queen - I have been struggling with time blocking but you are right - it does help!

@themother44483 years agoThanks for the tips!! 💕 I’m new to homeschooling so the crate idea is new to me! I usually highlight what we are working on in our math notebooks and divide the math problems up into sections with the highlighter so that they do a little bit of each (the basics adding subtracting, multiplication, division) everyday then whatever we are learning that is new as well! For example, my son does 1 to 2 math problems on each page I assign him instead of the whole page. He is highly adhd so it works well for him since he doesn’t focus well on one thing for too long. So at the top of the page I write a start date and leave the end date blank until he finishes the page! Idk if any of this makes sense but I hope it helps someone! I also like to stretch out lessons longer. 👍🏼 that way if we finish early we can play or do something fun or even move on to the next “subject” ...

@AmberUnraveled3 years agoThis was so helpful! Love the crate idea, why does taking those bindings off give me major anxiety though?! So glad I found your channel - would love to support one another on YT!!!! I'm looking for a new history program, we don't love the one we are using - if you have one you could recommend that would be great - and I'll check out your other videos and see if I can find what your using now :) ...

@mommyonthemove253 years agoThe filling crate is a great system for productivity. It didn't work for me but I still think is a great idea 1
@
@SevenInAll3 years agoIt's great to find the system that works for you. I've seen you talk about the file box system before and how you use it...but I know that just wouldn't work for my brain, haha! 1

@JoyfulNoiseLiving3 years agoIf I put off my hard things until the afternoon, they often don't get done :( I need to work on "eating the frog" first! 1
