Banjo-Kazooie: Freezeezy Peak - Otamatone + Mr. Knocky Cover | | mklachu

Happy 2021, I'm finally coming out of hibernation to bring you all a brand new video! This time... OUTSIDE, IN THE SNOW ☃️ "But Michaela, it's already spring time-" shhhhh... I'm awake now :^) I actually started this project in 2018, a year after making the magic happen for Gobi's Valley. I even titled the music session file "Freezeezy Peak - LET BK IN SMESH" (which Sakurai did in 2019, the mad lad!) so clearly it's been some time since I've revisited this one. I've always wanted to record in the snow, but I figured it would be nearly impossible for violin & viola (unless I bought a spare one to sacrifice, but I'd still feel awful about it tbh). BUT THE OTAMATONE? I'VE GOT ABOUT 20 OF 'EM. AND MR. KNOCKY? NO ELECTRONICS OR WATER DAMAGE TO WORRY ABOUT, EVEN BETTER! Also, it was soooo much easier & fun to have another person on camera, special thanks to Varmyth for helping me with that! By the way, note to self: don't record video in the snow. IT WAS SO COLD. LIKE, ACTUALLY FREEZING TEMPERATURES. I'm a stubborn dummy because my green screen footage didn't feel like it'd do the video justice, but y'know... it was an eye-opening and finger-freezing experience!
