Canadian corporation MindGeek/Pornhub is profiting from the global production and distribution of videos of victims of rape, torture, and trafficking who live in the Global South. MindGeek/Pornhub’s videos are consistently associated with the worldwide epidemic of sexual violence against women and children. The Canadian Parliament’s stubborn refusal to acknowledge MindGeek/Pornhub’s responsibility - and even to apply Canada´s own laws - makes Canada complicit with gross human rights violations, as laid out clearly in international agreements that Canada has ratified.
