Lineolated Parakeet Goes To The Vets | Nugget is my 9 year old Lineolated Parakeet. Nugget was closing his right eye so off to the vet we went. The Veterinarian checks his eye and puts a stain on his eyes to look for scratches or ulcer of his eyes. After the staining there was no evidence of an ulcer or scratch to the eye. The Veterinarian prescribed eye drops for 7 days to see if his eye improves.
